  • Although Homes of Love wholeheartedly supports the process of foreign adoption, the children we work with are not available for adoption. Our vision is to raise children into a generation of young people who will remain in their home country and be godly contributors to their society and culture. 

  • Homes of Love accepts contributions through cash, checks, and securities. You may also provide a gift using a debit or credit card or automatic bank withdrawal. We invite you to join our mailing list and register for The Village to become a regular contributor. Thank you for your partnership!

  • Yes! HOL is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your gifts are 100% tax deductible.

  • We take a holistic approach to raising children, and we accomplish this through both preventative and corrective responses. Depending on specific needs, our approach incorporates medical and dental treatments, educational training, emotional and spiritual support, access to healthy meals, clothing and personal items, and safe shelter.

  • The number of children in each home is limited and varies according to parental input and the individual needs of the children.

  • While we used to offer sponsorship, we have phased out this approach. We now connect monthly donors with a particular family and encourage you to get to know them and to pray for them regularly.

  • Homes of Love (HOL) is a non-denominational faith-based organization.

  • Yes! We’d love to connect with you. Volunteer opportunities are available occasionally in our Knoxville, TN office and, less frequently, through international trips. Fill out our Get Connected form to learn more.

  • Generally, initial costs to establish a home are $2,500. Monthly expenses can range per home, depending on the number of children who reside there. The weighted average to care for one child is about $250/month.

  • When possible, we place siblings together.

  • Although we operate from Knoxville, TN, we do not transport children outside of their home country. There are many safety and legal reasons for this. Our focus is on raising children in safe and loving homes within their own culture and community.

  • We are constantly humbled by the work God is doing in the lives of Homes of Love children! Across all three countries, there are many testimonies of protection, growth, and life change. Children in our programs have gone on to get married, learn important trades, attend higher education, and start their own Christian families.
